The Sacraments are our spiritual sustenance, which share God's life with us, here on earth.. If you are interested in converting to the Catholic faith, please contact Fr. Jorge directly at the parish office. 

Baptism

Children should be baptized within a few months of their birth, if possible. Godparents must be practicing Catholics, who have received Confirmation and are married within the Church (or currently living singly). If you do not live in Newton, you will need to ask for a letter from your local parish, giving you permission to baptize in another parish.

First Reconciliation and First Communion

Children are ordinarily ready to receive First Communion in 2nd grade. They will begin their preparation thorough our Parish School of Religion (PSR), which begins in September. First Communion Mass is usually in early May. 

Confirmation

Our parish will offer the Sacrament of Confirmation each year and anyone who is in 6th grade and older is eligible to receive this sacrament. Our next opportunity will be in December 2020, with prepartion beginning in August 2020.  

Marriage

Marriage Preparation requires 9 month notice prior to the wedding date. Please contact Fr. Jorge directly 9 months before your desired date, and he will help you schedule the date and complete the preparation.
